I remember receiving, back in the early 60's, a transistor radio for Christmas. It cost about $5 at the time. That was quite a bit of money back then to spend on a kid.

Compared to the technology available today it pales in comparison to the technical abilities, but not to joy of receiving the most ambitious advancement of it's time.

Just wanted to share that memory and thank my parents for leading me down a path of technology, from an early age, to what is today a budget busting, aggravating, frustrating, stress induced life from being forced to deal with a technology which will surely cause my death during a raging fit while beating my Bluetooth mouse with an old fashion hammer.
